Presentation Guidelines

 

ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES 

  1. Oral presentation sessions will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 13th and 14th, 2016.
  2. On Saturday 13th 2016 you should plan to deliver your presentation on a USB stick to "Speakers Presentation Check" zone, equipped with PCs and organisers, will be available close to the Registration desk between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. We strongly advise that to deal with unforeseen circumstances you bring an extra copy of your presentation file, and ensure you have a copy available from a suitable area on the internet that is generally accessible.
  3. Please kindly check the programme for the time allocated for your presentation (Conference Programme).
  4. You should meet your session chair in the session hall 5 minutes before the beginning of your session. You are requested to be in attendance for the whole session and take your seat in the front row of the session room.
  5. All presentations must be in Microsoft Power Point or PDF format.
  6. The exact length of your presentation time period, including questions and answers, is 15 minutes (Ideally 12mins for presentation + 3mins for Q&A). If you exceed 15 minutes, unfortunately, the session chair will have to stop you so it is important that you be prepared to adhere to the time limit.

POSTER SESSION PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

 

Basic Content Requirements

Your poster presentation should contain the following: 

  1. Title (as submitted on your poster abstract)
  2. Presenting Author and all co-authors; and the author’s affiliation(s)
  3. Introduction
  4. Related work
  5. Method(s)/Procedure(s)
  6. The results obtained; And the contribution of your work
  7. Conclusions
  8. References (if applicable)

 

General Guidelines 

  1. Poster presentation sessions will be held on Saturday and Sunday, February 13th and 14th, 2016.
  2. Posters must be affixed to the poster panels no later than 09:00 a.m. on Saturday 13th, 2016.
  3. All authors of posters are requested to be present during the poster sessions to meet with conference participants regarding the content ofposters.
  4. Posters must be taken down06:00 p.m. on Sunday 14th, 2016. Posters that have not been removed from the panels by the indicated time will be disposed of by the organisers. THE POSTERS WILL NOT BE SAVED FOR LATER RETRIEVAL.
  5. Posters must be A1 size Portrait (59.4 x 84.1cm = 33.1 x 23.4 in).
  6. The 9th SSC Logo must be included in your poster (To download Click here: SSC9 Logo).
  7. The SSSSUK Logo must be included in your poster (To download Click here: SSSSUK Logo).
