King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex

  • The establishment of King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur'an is a brilliant and great project that is meant for the service of the Noble Qur'an: preserving, printing and distributing it to Muslims all over the world. Therefore, Muslims are proud of this project which proves that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia abides by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet in word and deed
  • This is not new to Saudi Arabia which has been working hard to promote the practice of faith and to raise its banner high in the sky. It is well-known for its highborn principles and aims, the greatness of its intentions and everything in which it takes part, for the sake of protecting and propagating Islam since the era of the late King Abdel Aziz bin Abdel Rahman Al Saud, the man who founded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Allah has guided the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to establish this great Islamic project where he looks after the printing and the distribution of the Glorious Qur'an, with its different methods of recitation, to Muslims all over the world. King Fahd was also concerned with translating the meaning of the Holy Qur'an into many world languages; and with printing books of Sunnah and of the Biography of the Prophet

Ministry of Islamic Affairs

  • Since its foundation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been applying the Shari`ah of Islam, acting in accordance with the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah, and making judgments based on Allah’s Shari`ah. It also strives to propagate and call people to Islam with wisdom and fair preaching
  • This is the essential cornerstone of its system, duties, and obligations, to which it pays due attention. The Basic Law of Saudi Arabia provides for deriving power from the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah, which rule over this Law and all other laws of the Kingdom
  • It also stipulates that the Kingdom should protect the Islamic creed, apply the Shari`ah, enjoin good, forbid evil, and call people to Allah
  • The Sectors of Islamic Affairs, Da`wah, Guidance, and Endowments have been among the outstanding pillars and essential parts of the Kingdom. Since the foundations of the kingdom were laid by King `Abdul `Aziz Al Saud and his sons after him, the Kingdom has established, sponsored, supported, and developed large organizations for this purpose, flourishing in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Crown Prince, and his Second Deputy Prime Minister
  • This effort was crowned with success when Royal Decree No. 3/A of 20/1/1414 A.H. was issued to establish the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Da`wah, and Guidance to be in charge of matters related to Islam, endowments, mosques, guidance, and Da`wah. It is also in the service of mosques, developing and sponsoring endowments, propagating Islam, considering Islamic issues, and cooperating with Islamic societies and centers to help Muslims worship Allah according to the Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Messenger (peace be upon him), and the guidance of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. The Ministry is also responsible for King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, the translation of the meanings of the Qur’an, and the printing, translation, and distribution of Islamic books. It also sponsors charitable associations for Qur’an memorization and holds Qur’an competitions
