On behalf of the ambassador, Deputy Chief of Mission, Dr. AbdulAziz Al Wasil opens the Saudi Pavilion exhibition at London International Book Fair 2015
On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the United Kingdom the Deputy Chief of Mission, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Wasil opened the Saudi pavilion at the London International Book Fair (14-16/4/2015), with the participation of a number of Saudi national publishing houses, libraries, universities, government and semi-government institutions.
Visitors, by and large, have expressed favourable opinion of the Saudi pavilion, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah was in the forefront of a cluster of its distinguished visitors.
One of the advantages of participating in the occasion is the exchange of understandings on a number of cooperation projects that took place between foreign publishing houses peers and their Saudi counterparts.
The London International Fair can be seen as offering authors, publishers and entrepreneurs interested in the book industry the chance to meet, exchange ideas and become acquainted with the current cultural movement at the local and global levels, as well being aware of the new technologies in the era of globalization.
