As part of the cooperation efforts between educational institutions in both the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in accordance with the Kingdom’s vision 2030, the Cultural Attaché held a virtual meeting with representatives from the University of Leeds on Tuesday 13/07/2021.
The meeting was attended by the attaché of the cultural attaché a. Dr.. Amal bint Jamil Fatani, Director of the Department of Communication, Public Relations and Media, Dr. Madallah Al-Anazi, and Head of the Communication Department, Ms. Rawan Adham. Prof. Jackie Brown, Director of the Office of International Students, Professor Helen Middleton, also of the Office of International Students, Professor Claire Mulholland, Director of Outreach and International Partnerships, and Professor Matthew Butler, Liaison Officer, were in attendance representing the University of Leeds.
The cultural attaché, Prof. Dr. Amal bint Jamil Fatani, opened the meeting with a brief speech in which she outlined the mission’s goal in such meetings and clarified the points related to scholarship programs and research, scientific and cultural cooperation between the two kingdoms, which come within the framework of the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
During the meeting, they discussed how to expand cooperation in the field of research, transnational education and dual degrees. How to help students to join the demand specialties was also discussed, as Dr. Fatani explained that health is an integral part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The mechanism for improving billing procedures and student reports, and matters related to tuition fees, especially bench Fees, were also discussed.
